It allows users to connect a compatible laptop to the room’s conferencing equipment through a single USB-C cable and run meetings using their preferred conferencing platform.

Single USB-C Cable Connectivity

BYOD Meeting Room Support

The system is designed for Bring Your Own Device meeting rooms and supports compatible Logitech conferencing equipment. Users can connect their own devices to access the room’s supported camera and display setup, making it suitable for flexible meeting environments.

4K Display Connectivity

The display-side unit features HDMI 2.0 connectivity with support for resolutions up to 4K UHD at 60 Hz and 4:4:4 chroma. This provides high-resolution display connectivity for compatible meeting room displays and conferencing configurations.

Flexible USB and Network Connections

The display-side unit includes two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, an HDMI connection and an RJ45 connection to the table-side unit. The table-side unit provides a secured USB-C connection for the user’s laptop, an optional USB-C power input and an RJ45 connection for communication between the two units.

Extended Cable Reach

Logitech Extend supports long-distance connections between its table-side and display-side units using compatible category cabling. The connection can extend up to 100 metres with Cat6a cable or up to 60 metres with Cat5e/6 cable, allowing flexible installation in larger meeting rooms. Category cabling is supplied separately.

Optional Power Delivery

When connected to a suitable 100W USB-C power adapter, the table-side unit can deliver up to 100W of power to a compatible laptop or mobile device. This helps reduce the need for a separate device power connection during supported meeting room setups.

Centralised Device Management

Logitech Extend supports Logitech Sync device management for monitoring connectivity and managing supported configurations. Firmware updates and management options depend on the conferencing equipment and room setup.

Flexible Installation and Cable Management

The system supports 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting and includes mounting hardware for installation on suitable surfaces. An included magnetic dock helps keep the USB-C cable accessible, while the supplied grommet adapter allows the cable to be routed neatly through a meeting table.
